Scareboar (pang index) offers a floating narrative that weaves nostalgic reminiscences, mundane facts and the pseudo-esoteric. Micro and macro space, composition and decomposition. An expanse of the North Atlantic Ocean via the eyeball socket of a rotting sheep.

 

Commissioned and presented at Mission Gallery, Swansea in 2022, the accompanying live stream—bradcast online in March of that year—presented a compilation of research imagery and animated gifs, plus found and re-edited footage that informed the production process; plus artefacts from the cutting room floor. The completed film: Scareboar (pang index) sat at the centre of this broadcast.
